Ah man... poor Jose. I mean, I don't think he played the best he could in this game, but it really sucks seeing him go out so early. I was so sure he'd do really well this go-around, and he's such a sweet guy that it's heartbreaking to see him go so soon. Nonetheless, it is an exciting conclusion, and at least Chikara helped rid the game of some fodder in Sheri.

Tyler looks like he wants to kill himself in Chikara's cast assessment video. I really don't blame him. What a bunch of catty bitches. They really must amuse themselves because there was really nothing of comedic value to me in that video. I can see it now, all these fuckers are gonna be jerking off together on skype by seasons end.

Tyler is my favourite on Chikara right now, just in terms of personality. He seemed to keep to just positive comments on people. And yeah, he definitely looks like he wants to kill himself. I'm gathering based off how he communicates with others (like his convo with Eric where he basically is saying how no guy would want to sleep with him) that he's not big on the catty gays, despite his flamboyant personality. He just is sorta sitting on the sidelines in this.
But my God. I hate Chikara now. That cast assessment thing was just ridiculous. I'm sure they thought they were being funny, though...

Long post warning! Get off the Jose hate train! I feel like people are calling his gameplay "sloppy" and implying that it's "willingly sloppy" based on the reasoning behind it. Ok that was a little harsh and I understand yall's opinions, but this is mine: I think Jose's downfall at the beginning was how instantly Billy and Sami clicked. And that's not exactly something he could have controlled, so the constant criticism against him makes it sound like he's a crappy player with no awareness. Jose is clearly a bright guy and well-spoken. I know you all know that, but I don't think writing it off as "sloppy" does the issue justice. If you take the Billy-Sami bond out of the equation, Jose may be sitting at the top of his tribe with solid relationships across the board. And let's not forget that Jose is very popular, and entered the game as a huge threat because of that (similar to Sassy). So for all the additional pressure and eyes on him before the game even started, I applaud his effort and I think the middle of the road strategy he chose was probably his best chance. He made mistakes, and those mistakes are unknowingly under a microscope because the Doc Pac is so in control, which is making everything worse as well. But he does have connections with people and hasn't been out of the loop like Jamie and a few others in the cast. For whatever reason, others don't see him as a "#1 Ally" type of guy for them, and I don't know if he could have controlled much to prevent that. Had he been super under the radar or tried being an outspoken leader figure, he may have been the first boot. And he's still here. It's not over till it's over. The current situation is more of a testament to how impressive Billy and Sami have been at keeping the rest of the tribe from realizing they are the power couple running the show. With that said, I don't think we need label Jose as "playing poorly." I don't see it as a black/white issue. In fact, I think he'd probably be safe playing the way he has on any other tribe. So to conclude this, I think we need to throw some bad luck into the explanation for why Jose is in trouble. The kid loves this series and I think he deserves some love back. So Jose... I hope you can figure out the real tribe politics going on soon before it's too late, and do something about it! I'll skip back on over to the Jose love thread now. I feel horrible for Jose and I think it was rotten they got rid of him, but it makes sense I suppose. While the Billy-Sami relationship was really unfortunate, I don't believe it's entirely to blame for Jose's downfall. He still individually isolated every single member on his tribe. He isolated Billy by subtly targeting him and having been willing to boot him last round, he isolated Craig by throwing him under the bus apparently to Matt?, he isolated Sami by making her seem like the villain by saying he would keep Matt if she would, and finally- he isolated Jamie by voting her out. I think the Billy-Sami relationship is very strong and they deserve props for that most definitely, but I don't think it's the sole reason for Jose's downfall and he should hold some responsibility for his actions. Keep in mind, I don't believe ANY of his intentions were to isolate any of his tribe mates, like I don't think he intended on throwing anyone under the bus, and I don't think he intended on making Sami the villain - he just wanted to appease people.

Also lol Sheri. I hate when people act so immature when they're blindsided. Jose handled his exit SO gracefully and it's part of the reason I have so much respect for him. He has a great heart and he's a great person.

They really must amuse themselves because there was really nothing of comedic value to me in that video. I can see it now, all these fuckers are gonna be jerking off together on skype by seasons end. It seems to me the reason they did it was more for shits and giggles. Like, they were doing it for tribe bonding and thought it'd be nice to show us what they were doing, and I think Cody & Robbie are playing perfectly by including Chris in the threesome, and having foursomes with Eric and Tyler both separately. The video to me really showed how strong the tribe is unified and I enjoyed seeing that side of it. While Tyler did seem bored, he did make comments and you can tell he has done a strong 180 having been an outcast and now lasting over Sheri, and quite possibly (and likely) over Eric as well should they lose again. I agree with Joe Purcell though, I think Tyler is becoming one of my favorites. I just truly enjoy his underdog story after he was slated as one of the first boots and now you can tell the effort he's putting in to be included, I really hope it pays off for him and I can't wait to see what's in store.

Chikara is by far my favorite tribe. I am in love with the Cody/Robbie/Chris alliance, definitely my favorite alliance in the game. I agree with Cody about how it was more for tribe bonding, I don't think any of them are mean spirited people, in fact I think the total opposite. Love that tribe so much and I'll be so sad if they lose again.
